It's all about Jesus

Positional Authority

I realize that for some this will be hard to receive and that others will all together reject what I’m writing; but if you open your mind and allow the Holy Spirit to confirm it, you will see the truth just as I have. It is never easy when you are confronted with the realization that what you have believed for years, and even devoted your life to is wrong. But if we are honest with ourselves and earnestly seek out the instruction of the Holy Spirit; not allowing our personal theology and mindsets to blind us, He will reveal the truth first to us and then in us. As I recently saw in a vision, we must all step into the fire of the revelation of His love. The revelation of what Jesus accomplished through His stripes, crucifixion, and resurrection. We must renew our minds with the truth of scripture, casting down all mindsets of theology and traditions that exalt themselves above the reality which is in Christ Jesus.

Over 12 years ago the Lord, through visitation, prophetic words, dreams, and visions, and in His word, showed me how His children will be in the last days. I saw a people walking in a level of understanding, power, authority, and a trust in Him that has not been seen on this earth since Adam. At that time I decided to devote myself to allowing the Holy Spirit to teach me so that I could be one of those I was seeing. Even though I was having tremendous experiences with the Lord I was very immature in spiritual matters. Everyone I knew was telling me I needed to serve under someone and allow them to teach me the ways of God. The Holy Spirit was daily telling me that He would teach me all things and lead me into all truth. But because of my immaturity I submitted to the instruction of others whom I believed had a greater understanding of the gifts, and who were more seasoned than I. Even though it is wisdom to seek council and to surround yourself with those you trust to be accountable to and learn from, that should never supersede or take the place of the instruction of the Holy Spirit. Because of that decision, my vision for what God wanted to do with me and in me was lost to the theological beliefs and mindsets of those around me; most who had beliefs in many ways contrary to what the Holy Spirit had taught me. Because of that decision I lost 10 years of walking with God the way He wanted me to, and it nearly cost me the relationship with Him I’m called to walk in. Approximately 18 months ago the Lord started gently reminding me of the precious times we used to have and how much He missed them. I have once again started fanning the flame of passion for Him, and during this time He is bringing back all that He showed me. Here is a brief glimpse of some of the truth He has shown me.

When Jesus came to earth it was not just to reconcile man back to God. That was just the way to get us to His true goal. God has always desired to have children that choose to love Him and that would administrate His kingdom into this earth. Jesus did not come to show us what God can do on this earth; but what man, filled with the Spirit of God, can do on this earth. He desires to have children that will subdue and have dominion on this earth; to bring the Kingdom of Heaven into this world. To be the gods of this world. (King of Kings and Lord of Lords) We are one spirit with Him (1Cor. 6:17) and as He is so are we in this age! (1Jn. 4:17) If you are a child of God then you are presently sitting at the right hand of the Father in Christ Jesus.  We are sitting in that position will all the power and authority of He who sits on the throne. Our Father, who has absolute power, chose to relinquish that power in this earth and give it to man. When God rested on the seventh day He was finished with all His creation on this earth. Anything that has been created after Adam was given authority has been created by man. God placed the spirit of life in man and now we have the ability to create true spirit life. We choose if we will create a child (body, soul, spirit), and by our actions life is created. Animal can create a living being, but not a being with a soul and a spirit. God created man in His image and we can create in that same image. Do you realize that God even required man to create Jesus’ body? Now as a spirit Jesus is without beginning, but His body had to be created; and God gave that power to man. And since Jesus would be born of a virgin, man would have to create that body in a different way. So God, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, had man speak out (prophesy) everything Jesus would be and do. Then when all was spoken an angel appeared to Mary and then every prophetic utterance concerning Jesus was gathered together and place into Mary with the Holy Spirit brooding over her. Then the Word became flesh. Just as God spoke all things into existence, so He had man speak Jesus’ body into existence so that the Word would become flesh and dwell among us. Are you starting to understand the authority He has given us through Jesus? And with authority comes responsibility. In John 17 Jesus says that He has given us the glory that the Father gave Him. He not only shares His glory with man, He gave man His glory, now we must use it to glorify HIM.

So how do we glorify Jesus? It is real easy, Jesus told us what to do in John 20:23 and Mark 16:15-18. In John He states that as the Father sent Him, so He is sending us. And in Mark He says:

5 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

He never told us to sit around and pray that He would change the situation we are in. He never told us to pray and ask Him to set our neighbor free. He told us to go and use the authority and power He gave to us. We are to speak to the situation and demand it change, or break the power over our neighbor with the word of God. We are to heal the sick, not wait on Him to do it. We are to set the captives free, not sit around fasting and begging God to do what He has given us the power and authority to do. The reality is that everything is already done through the stripes, crucifixion, and resurrection of Jesus. He has already done it; we’ve just got to walk it out, to enforce it. To ask God to please heal someone, when He has already healed them makes no sense. We should go lay hands on them and know that they will recover. It’s not God’s unwillingness to heal; it’s our unbelief and religious traditions that keep people sick and hurt. It’s easy to blame God for someone not being healed when in reality it’s our fault. I realize that may sound harsh, but He told us to heal the sick, not pray and ask Him to heal them. He has already done it; will you step out and believe? We are not waiting on God to release a healing power. He released it over 2,000 years ago when by His stripes we were healed. Again we just enforce it.

So if you are waiting on some special anointing or for God to pour out His glory so that you can see miracles or revival– STOP! Step out and allow the glory He poured out into you to invade this earth. Allow the rivers of His glory to flow out of your belly and declare that the kingdom of God is at hand. Then heal the sick, cast out demons, and raise the dead!

The Sabbath is made for man

The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath (Mark 2:27)

We first get introduced to the Sabbath in Genesis when we read how God created the earth, every living creature, and man in six days. It was actually at the end of the sixth day that man was created. It says that after that, on the seventh day, God rested. It was this time after He had created everything for man, and provided for Adam and Eve there every need, that He rested. Adam and Eve could begin their existence knowing that their Father had anticipated everything they would need and provided for them. This is the Sabbath; it is a covenant from God to man, not a day. He was saying, Adam, you will enter into this rest with me, you will have dominion over all the earth, and you will not have to toil for the benefits. This rest was lost through sin, and because of the law, religion has tried to make the Sabbath works. Religion says that unless you keep the Sabbath (a day) you will not be blessed by God. That you cannot work (defined by each religious group) and this day because it is the Lord’s day. Meanwhile ignoring the fact that every day is the Lord’s day, and we are to worship Him, honor Him, and fellowship with Him every day. He did not walk with Adam and Eve in the cool of the morning on Sundays, or Saturdays only. He walked with them in the cool of the day every day. Making the Sabbath specific day has changed a covenant of rest and provision into a religious obligation. David, because of his intimate relationship with God, knew of this covenant. He foresaw it being re-established through Jesus, and because of that dared to enter into the temple and eat the showbread. Jesus understood His father’s heart and the purpose of the Sabbath. That is why He had no problem with His disciples “working” on the Sabbath which is contrary to religious law. He understood that God had established the Sabbath as a covenant of promise that He meets all our needs. Today when we accept Jesus as savior and Lord of our lives, we too can step into this Sabbath rest. Like Adam and Eve before us, God has already provided our every need through Christ Jesus. Trust God, step into His rest.

Healing – The Children’s Bread

There have been numerous books, articles, and sermons providing more than enough proof that healing is in the atonement. (Isaiah 53:5; 1 Peter 2:24; Matt 8:16-17, ECT…) So if you don’t believe that Jesus received His stripes so that you would be healed, you probably will want to stop reading now. For the rest of us that believe let’s take it to the next level.

We all desire to see a greater manifestation of healings in our lives. We are tired of seeing the sick come into our services and leave in the same condition they arrived in. There are a few reasons this is happening and I want to address a couple of them.

First is that we see too many people praying for God to heal them or the one they are praying for. 1 Peter 2:24 says that Jesus bore our infirmities, and that by His stripes we were healed. That is past tense; it has already been accomplished. We need to quit asking God to do something He has already done. Asking God to heal us has an element of hope that it will happen. Hope is not faith, and it takes faith to see the manifestation of the healing. If my father sent me a letter and said I bought you a car and it’s at the dealership, I don’t need to keep asking Him for a car. I just need to go pick it up. Healing has been accomplished and is part of Jesus’ inheritance. We are His inheritance as well as everything that pertains to life and happiness. Satan is a thief and he has stolen things that are rightfully are Lord’s inheritance. It is our job to see where things have been stolen and take them back. We can then present them back to Jesus. If someone is sick it is because Satan has stolen their health. Jesus paid the price so that person doesn’t have to be sick. It is then our responsibility as a child of God to go and enforce that which Jesus has done. God has given us this authority. And when we understand it, then Satan will start obeying because we have the entire authority and power of the kingdom of God backing us up. We aren’t healing anyone; we are just enforcing what Jesus has already accomplished. So stop praying for people to be healed and start commanding things to be according to the word of God. Command them to be on this earth as they are in heaven, and Satan hasn’t stolen anything in heaven. The word of God actually says that believers will lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. It doesn’t say we will pray for the sick. By laying hands on someone we are declaring that the kingdom of God is at hand and that the kingdom of darkness must go. So stop asking God to do what He has already done.

Don’t let it pass you by

The early part of 2000, the Lord started showing me and speaking to me about a group of people, a remnant that He was calling forth. This remnant would gain a greater understanding of our authority and power in Christ Jesus. They would begin to walk in that authority and power and it would be a light to the world. This light would not only draw the unsaved to Jesus but would serve as a contrast between what man has called the church and what God calls the church. Many that are held in bondage to man’s religion will see the light and liberty that this remnant will walk in and will break free to run back to their first love. Much of the calling of this remnant is to turn the hearts of the children back to the father. The remnant will not only teach on the Father’s extravagant love but will demonstrate it. They will minister as ones with both authority and power.

I realize that many are prophesying this now, and this seems a little after the fact. This however, is not my reason for writing. For over ten years I have been waiting to see the manifestation of this group. Waiting for the time appointed by God to bring this remnant forth. Seeking God and praying, trying to rid myself of anything that would keep me from stepping into my calling. Waiting for the “sign” or the timing. Then about 6 months ago God started in various ways showing me that while I, and many others, have been “preparing” for this time, we allowed it to pass us by. He showed me that I had basically wasted the last ten years of my life. Now He did it slow, because this was extremely hard for me to take. But it was necessary.

Just like when He had to speak to me in an audible voice in 1998, calling me to serve Him, because I had ignored the gentle callings for years. He is now dealing with me because I missed it before and He doesn’t want me to miss it again. Years ago when He was instructing me about the remnant and His sons beginning to manifest, it wasn’t a teaching but a call to action. To step out and believe Him for what He was promising and for what Jesus had done. Not part way, but in every way. I taught this message, declared it, and prayed to see God bring it into being. I did everything that religion tells you to do, but I failed to put action to my words. In the same way, He is declaring His desires through words given by many different people. This isn’t just a declaration of what He wants to occur, it is a call to action. We must not miss this, and if we don’t step out and start acting like the sons of God we are called to be we will miss it. Not that the call and desires of God will be revoked, but our sensitivity to the calling and to the spirit will be dulled. Now is the time for action. Let’s not sit around having meetings and gatherings just declaring what God’s will is, let us put action to God’s will. Let’s not just be hearers of the word, but doers also.

A Curse Without Cause

Gal 3:6-14

6 Consider Abraham: “He believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” 7 Understand, then, that those who believe are children of Abraham. 8 The Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.” 9 So those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith. 10 All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.” 11 Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because, “The righteous will live by faith.” 12 The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, “The man who does these things will live by them.” 13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.” 14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

There is teaching out there that is so prevalent that most consider it Gospel. It says that if sickness and disease is in you or if you struggle with one sin or another it is because Satan has legal right to you. It states that you are under a curse, either from ancestors or something you did, that has opened a door and given Satan legal right to afflict you. This teaching is so prevalent that I have struggled with it for years trying to reconcile what God was teaching me with what most in the body of Christ were teaching. Today I write to say that they cannot be reconciled and to break the power of the teaching that has held so many in bondage to sin and disease while they try to “find the doorway or origin of the curse”. The above scripture clearly says that Jesus became a curse for us. Just as He became sin so that we are no longer in bondage to sin, He became a curse so we are no longer subject to a curse. The curse states that if we do not fulfill all the law then that point of sin we are subject to a curse. Well, Jesus fulfilled the law for us so that through Him we are righteous and therefore a curse has no authority in our lives. I’m not saying sinning can’t give access to your life, even to destroy it; just that He has no legal right to do it. God showed it to me this way:

There is a tremendous kingdom, with one King (Jesus) that has total authority over the entire kingdom. In the kingdom and under Jesus are many other kings. (You and me) Now as kings in the kingdom, we have been given authority to administrate the will of the One over us. He has placed us at the edges of the kingdom to expand the kingdom and to be the gateways by which the kingdom enters into the earth. (Psalms 24:7) Now, as doorways we have the ability to not only release the kingdom of God, that is in our spirit, into the earth, but also into our soul and body. If we release the kingdom into the earth we are expanding the kingdom into the earth, if we release the kingdom into our soul or body then we are expanding the kingdom by becoming more like Jesus. Both are the will of God. On the other hand, if we open the door and allow the demonic into our soul or body we are retreating and the enemy will take that ground. Now that ground is part of the kingdom of God, and even though we allowed Satan entrance, we had no right to do it. We had the ability but not the authority. We transgressed against the kingdom and allowed the enemy of the Kingdom of God to trespass and stay on Jesus’ property. Now Satan is a thief and a liar. He doesn’t care if he is there illegally or not. He may say, “But you gave me the right to be here”, but you didn’t. You allowed him access, but Jesus alone can give the right or authority. The first Adam was given the power and authority over this world. Satan was not given authority when he deceived Eve and she sinned, he was given authority when Adam sinned. In the same manner, the only way Satan can get his authority back is for it to be given to him by Jesus. And that isn’t going to happen! So if a curse has no right to be here, then it cannot stay.

What all this means is that if you are struggling with sin, illness, depression, ect.. don’t spend time looking for the legal access point. It’s not there, and Satan can keep you busy for years while he ruins your life. Understand that he has no legal right to be there and demand he leave. When we understand who we are (kings of the kingdom and sons of God) and that he has no right to be there, then we have faith to tell him to vacate the premises. He must leave, and if he tries to stay then you have the full power and authority of the entire kingdom backing you up. Satan won’t respond to demands when he knows you don’t believe you can make him leave. It’s when you know who you are and who you’re representing that he responds. At that point he looks at you and sees the One in you that made a public spectacle of him – Jesus. We cannot give the authority to anyone, that is Jesus’ sole ability and right, we can only administrate what we have be given through Jesus. It is His power and authority we have been given. Nothing we have done (except receiving Jesus as savior and Lord) got us the authority, and we cannot do anything to lose the authority.

Call to Action

James 1:22-25

22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

There is a real battle going on. It has been raging since the fall of man. The battle is between the kingdom of God and the Kingdom of darkness with the fate of men and women in the balance. This is a daily fight against an enemy that’s sole desire is to steal what is ours, and to kill and destroy us. His tactics have convinced the majority of the body of Christ to have no part in this war and to just endure until our redeemer returns. Well, enough is enough, it is time to stand up and take the fight to the enemy. Jesus has commissioned us, and cast us out to enforce what He has already accomplished. He has set the guidelines of our warfare that it is not against flesh and blood (man) but against powers, principalities, and rulers of the darkness of this age. He has placed our enemy under our feet, and given us a place of authority in Him.

Eph 6:12-13

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Our mission is to destroy the works of Satan, and bring freedom to man. Jesus didn’t die just so we can go to heaven. He paid the price so we can be free from the bondages of sin. He has set us free from the law of sin and death so that His spirit of life can rule and reign in our lives. It is this same Spirit that lives in us that will give life to our own mortal bodies. This is the life we must share with our brothers and sisters that are being held in bondage by Satan. We no longer can stand on the sidelines and watch as others suffer and die. We cannot sit still and allow our fellow man live in hunger and consumed with pain and disease. We have been given both the authority and the power to change their circumstances and not to act is ungodly and a sin. The revelation of being a son of God is being unveiled and with it comes the responsibility to act on it. We must not be a hearer of the word only, but a doer also.

No Condemnation

 Rom 8:1-4

8 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, 4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

The other night while praying before going to church the Lord gave me this verse.  Now normally when He gives me this verse He wants to teach on healing and or heal people.  This verse has a special meaning to me because it was the verse He used when He talked to me about divine health.  This time however, something was different about the way He was emphasizing it to me.  He was emphasizing the part about there not being condemnation and not the part about the Spirit of Life.  I enquired as to why He was changing the emphasis, and what He was trying to tell me but no answer, that is until I got to church.  During worship I could sense His presence in a strong way and knew that He was drawing us (or inviting) us into intimacy in our relationship with Him.  He wanted to reveal Himself to us in ways we have not experienced Him before.  Now when He does this it doesn’t mean everyone will have the same experience with Him, but that He will interact with each person differently in a way that person can both understand and handle His presence.  I immediately knew now what the Lord was telling me before the service.  He wanted to draw us into a more intimate relationship but there were things holding us back, mainly condemnation.  He then spoke this word to me.

I have captured their hearts.  But many, like a captured wild animal, continue to buck and struggle.  They struggle and try to do things in their own ways because they trust in their own abilities more than they trust in mine.  Cease from your own works and struggles.  Allow me to do my works both in you and through you.  Enter into my rest; see that I have provided all things for you and that all my promises are yes and amen.

I could see that many were struggling because of things they had done in the past or because of circumstances in their life.  He then brought Hebrews 9 into remembrance.

Heb 9:11-12

11 But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. 12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.

Jesus entered into the holy place one time and sprinkled His blood on the alter to meet the legal requirement for the remission of sins.  His offering was done one time for all sins.  Understand that every sin that was ever committed or ever will be committed has been forgiven.  All we have to do is receive that payment and confess that Jesus is your Lord.  That is the only “works” we do.  If we try to add anything to it then it’s not grace but works.  The truth is we don’t go to hell because of sin; we go to hell if we don’t accept Jesus’ sacrifice as the payment for our sin.  Every sin has been paid for in God’s eyes.  The problem is when we refuse to appropriate Jesus’ payment and by doing that we are insisting on paying for our sins ourselves.  We are unable to make that payment and so the wage of our sin is death, both physically and spiritually.  Most of you realize this and have received Jesus’ free gift, but continue to feel unworthy or “condemned” because of the struggles in your life.  You just don’t seem to be able to live up to the image you have created in your mind of what God requires you to be like before He will allow you to know Him intimately.  The truth is that you have very little to do with it because when our Father looks at a Christian He sees Jesus.  He’s not looking at your righteousness, but Jesus’.  He doesn’t see your holiness but Jesus’.  All you have to do is seek Him.  (Now I’m not making lite of sin.  Even if our Father doesn’t see your sin, it does open up a doorway for satan to destroy your life and limit the blessings of God in your life.  It’s not that God doesn’t love you or want to bless you, it’s just that you are giving satan the right to steal, kill, and destroy that things God has for you.)

The last part of the word was that He wanted us to enter into His rest or His Sabbath.  He also led me to Genesis 1:26 – 31.

26 Then God said,”Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them,”Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

29 And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food. 30 Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so. 31 Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

When you look at creation you see that God made man at the end of the sixth day.  Everything else had been made and was ready for them.  There was nothing they had to do to receive what God had provided for them.  God didn’t make the trees seeds and require them to plant and wait for harvest.  They didn’t have to wait for the animals to be made or land to form.  God made them and sat them in the garden after He had finished providing everything they would need.  All they needed was a short introduction of what was available and what to do.  They immediately stepped into the Sabbath day and entered into His rest knowing that everything had been provided for.  In the same way our Father is telling you to trust Him.  Rest in the assurance that even before you were born He provided for you everything you will need.  Just trust Him and don’t give satan a doorway into your life to rob you of what God desires you to have.  Don’t allow those issues in your life that bring condemnation to keep you separated from your Father.  Separating yourself from Him is the last place you need to be and the last place He wants you to be.  Run into His arms, because in His presence even those doorways can be closed.
